While dropping a bit short in her search for the title, the experience was a profoundly good one for Jordan, the only woman from the Brazos FFA to enter the competition. Tired of being the 'go-fer woman' for Tyler as h-e worked on his tractors, Jordan chose to conquer her own restoration, a John Deere 420.

Jordan, in her first-year showing vehicles, initially drew inspiration from an unlikely place-the music-video for 'Save yourself a Horse, Ride a Cowboy,' by nation team Big and Rich. The music video displays Gretchen Wilson operating a 'lovely' tractor and Jordan decided she wished to restore one that way.
