With so much curiosity about how social networks work, one begins to wonder if you have marketing potential within these social networks?

I've been watching social media for some time now. In case people hate to dig up further about https://www.facebook.com/jay.wiemuth.1/, we recommend tons of online resources people should consider pursuing. In-fact I'm an associate of numerous social-networking websites including http://www.myspace.com/ and https://www.linkedin.com simply to name two.

I joined partly because I wanted to see what these were, but more importantly to see what effect social network would have on SEM in-the coming years.

I've been a member of numerous services for a while and the reach these sites have is incredible.

For example, from my LinkedIn network of eight people I've an expanded network of over 12,600 people.

Suppose - I'm merely a click or two away from close to 13,000 other people who share my similar interests ranging from what I like to watch on TV to work I could provide to them.

Through my connections and their connections, I am connected to people including the American Cancer Society, to Sun Microsystems to the University of Texas to Google.

But what advertising possibilities are there for Social-networking?

Well, let's look at MySpace.

MySpace is one of the top sites on the internet today. It racked up 9.4 thousand page-views in August 2005 (over Google) and new customers are signing up in a mind-boggling rate of 3.5 million a month.

MySpace is typical of where todays 18-30 year old would go to manage their digital life. I-t allows users to publish photos of themselves and their friends, develop a blog, list a common artists, watch and share videos, suggest activities to do and lists a set of people they consider friends. It's with this 'Friends List' where a lot of the possibilities lay.

All thirty million-plus users of MySpace have a friends page that lists people that person thinks their friend. This can be a list of people who they are interested in hearing from on a normal basis, in addition to talking to and about. When you put somebody as your friend they can send you messages, discuss your photographs, study your sites, as well as abandon messages that you can then give the others. This is a chance for instant feedback about you.

The capability to add friends to your page is key for advertising to MySpace consumers. According to Courtney Holt, head of new media and strategic marketing at Interscope Records, 'This generation is growing up without having ever watched developed media. 'They do not think in terms of-the record, and they do not think in terms of a TV schedule. They think in terms of TiVo, P2P, AOL, and needless to say MySpace.

You can view how this may grow.

Let us say you create a MySpace account to talk about your product or service. You blog about this and seek out the others which could share your interests.

Afterward you invite them to be your friend. If they turn into a friend you begin your 'smooth market' pitching your solution in their mind.

As they grow to understand it, they begin blogging and sharing it. Soon hundreds or even thousand of people are talking about you and your product or service.

Don't think this can work?

Let me give some situations to you. This grand https://vimeo.com/jameswiemuth/ link has a pile of surprising lessons for when to allow for it. There are numerous artists who've gotten their start on MySpace. Simply by hosting a number of their music on line and blogging about themselves they created a following. Soon they'd record deals and contracts lined-up. Learn additional information on our affiliated encyclopedia by visiting angel.co/james-wiemuth.

Obviously to utilize services like MySpace you need to get anything this target market needs. If you do not then you probably should not put too much effort in to MySpace.

But that will not mean other social network opportunities should be overlooked. When I mentioned previously, LinkedIn is more of a specialist introduction service. If your products or services meets here then by all means investigate it more.

And there are the others too. Https://Www.Angel.Co/James Wiemuth contains more concerning when to consider it. Companies for example Flickr, Yahoo!s MyWeb, http://del.icio.us and more.

When you have ever wondered what other online options might be on the market, con-sider social network. It may be the next great online-marketing channel..
