A well-established nonprofit group which conducts re-search, provides consumer information, writes articles, and includes a directory of members around the globe. With Rainforest Alliance, an ecotourism certification standards program was recently started by it.
Sustainable Travel International

Produced 36 months ago to bridge the gapbetween research and ocnsumer data and to promote sustainable develop-ment and eco-friendly travel. Supplies a carbon off-set program and last month began an eco-certification program which will follow standards laid-out by the International Ecotourism Society.
