How Voluntary Employee Benefits Cut Workers Compensation Costs

from web site

"Hey there, my name is Jelani and I supply employee benefits through my business. And previously today I consulted with the Human Resource Supervisor of a business I had actually never become aware of previously, yet I couldn't believe my ears as the HR Supervisor was describing his company.

Why?

And again we come back to our preliminary concern, 'what has taken place to the advantages of being a worker in America?'

The proud and strong HR Manager and I were sitting across from each other at the conference table, moving our organisation transaction forward. As an initial workout prior to lifting the advantages of our benefits plan onto the glossy, brown wood conference table, we discussed the advantages he is presently using for his employees.

Now, before we continue, please let me alert you, this is an extremely uncommon business, particularly in this economy. In this America.

Why is this business so rare you ask? Well, I am now going to give you the answer and the answer for you is here - their benefits. Keep in mind those things? And listen to what this company offers, as you will see, it's a buffet: health, dental, brief term, special needs, long term special needs, 401k, life and business offered life, where upon your death your beneficiaries receive a swelling amount equivalent to two times your annual income.

What!

PhDs, Master's Degrees, 10, 20 years of experience and commitment - laid off and tossed away like old clothes or the toy you couldn't wait to play with when you first got it and suddenly couldn't wait to eliminate when you got tired with it.

In other words, great, qualified, faithful, diligent Americans are getting precisely what they don't should have - they're getting canned. They're getting disposable and they - are you.

Have you considered the importance of this? And how typically? In this nation, company IS the economy and small organisation types 60 percent of our economy - jobs, tax profits, and so on.

What is going on? What are we doing? What is happening to us? Things have certainly altered, have not they?

Once again, company is our foundation and consider when you - the chauffeur of company, the employee - last got a job or are now seeking a new task. And consider what you request in a task in return for your efforts, your impact, your time, and your service. What is it you request for? What do you ask for from a job - does it not include pay, hours, advantages? And what is happening now, to our benefits in America? It seems, just what is taking place to our tasks - they are all getting cut! ""No more 401k match"", you say? No more company paid medical insurance? No oral? O, no budget plan for it, huh? No spending plan for me, huh? And now, no budget plan for yourself and it's time to join the new-economic-age company graveyard for the ungrateful dead.

We have actually got to look after our group! Do not we?

And what occurs to us all? There is nowhere to hide. Stop attempting to hide. Stop thinking you're safe. No one's safe. The disease of the economy is contagious and will permeate into your bubble if you hide - it is choking your air now, isn't it? Sure, you may have great benefits, and here are mesmerizing questions for you - when the staff members of America are disappointed and advantages are cut and business drop and the economy busts - what happens to you?

Are you permanently and definitely insulated from your environment? And as the heat is turned up, the temperature increases for you too, does not it? At least to a degree, does not it? Even if your benefits aren't being squeezed or taken, doesn't necessarily suggest the epidemic won't spread out to your company, right? And as the bodies and companies pile, the aroma of their rotting flesh could a minimum of make it through the air vents in your office, right?

And as people are cut and businesses are downsized, what happens to your clients and your cashflows? Who are your consumers? Who are your business partners? Who are your networkers? Do all of us not depend on the health and stability of the network to an extent? And after that, how healthy and steady is the economic, company, and task network in this country, right now?

While tasks are cut continually by the thousands like fist fulls of hair strands from the head of a defenseless prisoner of economic war and advantages are eliminated like seat cushions, airbags and seat belts, how healthy and stable is the economic, service, and job network in this country, right now?

Which brings us back to our happy HR Manager, with the rare company, and the golden advantages plan and in addition to their enchanting advantages for their spoiled staff members, their parent business happens to be based outside of America.

Hmmm, and why is this intriguing? And you are asking, why is this interesting?

Clearly, you understand and certainly, you know that when I was speaking to the HR manager, he stressed passionately that he does not understand why staff members are so under-respected in this country now and the primary reason his workers are so pampered since the business is based outside of America!

Clearly, you understand, something is drastically wrong. Advantages drive our employees and our employees drive our companies and our services drive our economy and economy drives our lives and - what is happening to our staff member benefits - our services - our country - our livelihoods?

We are worthy of much better, do not we?"
