jillkostishionDescription: You can use Google’s Picasa to enhance your own photos and to really make them look good. This software also allows users to share their photos and to tag photos accordingly. Picasa enables side by side editing and you can share with specific circles of people (Google Staff, 2014).
How would you use it in your classroom?: I would use this tool specifically if I was teaching in an art classroom. This simple, easy to use tool would make it possible for my students to create digital art and share their work with others. They would also have the opportunity to work on art projects together and to create discussions about their artworks. It is a great tool to really integrate web 2.0 in art education.
With what topics in your curriculum could you use the tool?: As stated before, I would most certainly use this in an art classroom. Digital art is an important part of a digital native, and it really could spark discussions. Outside of art education, however, students could use this tool to manipulate photos for projects or to just share relevant experiences with each other. Perhaps a student could connect a science lesson with a real life issue (for example, maybe we are studying trees, and the students has photographs to share of different types). -

Subir videos a Youtube
Hacer collages de imágenes. -
