I discovered this web site last semester when I had to present a technology tool for a graduate class. This web site has many possible uses for teachers of all subjects, but it is especially useful for English teachers. A Glog is an online, interactive poster that students create using images from the web site or they can add their own images, clip art, background, music and videos. Many students are using Glogster as a type of Blog, creating new, expressive Glogs often. Teachers can have students create Glogs based on themes, lliterary analysis, characters, poetry, definitions, chapter summaries, etc. The ideas are endless. What's great about the site is that it's free, easy to use, and students can access and edit their Glogs from any computer with an internet connection. I like the feature that allows users to keep their Glogs private unless they send a visitor a link.

Thank you very much for posting this link. It´s really a "killer application" for language teachers. It´s a great tool for task-based language learning. I think it is a very easy and powerful way to publish task-outcomes in a 2.0 way

My students just finished making severe weather posters. They loved the project and created posters with facts about their storm. They were able to load pictures and video clips into their project to make it more interesting. Great site!

I use Glogster at the end of my Level One class for students to create a Web Collage of all things French :) They love it, especially when presenting their collages to the class.
