Exactly why complex carbs? Because unlike simple carbs (sugars) is actually practically impossible to turn complex carbs into excess fat - this means more energy to burn (work out there with) and less fat to deal with in the end.

If you need to build muscle mass fast, ideally you'd want to consume 2 - 3 grams of carbs for each and every pound of bodyweight a day.

You cannot build muscle mass without "Heavy weight training". Let's just put it this way "the more stress (heavy weight) you put on muscle tissue, the more it will grow".
