  • Tap on menu icon (three-horizontal bars) far top left corner of the screen.

 

  • Tap on 'Settings'

 

  • Tap on 'Auto add switch' underneath the 'Google photos' segment. This will allow photo back up and restoration.

 

  • Tap on 'Backup and reset' option, from the 'Auto backup for app' option.

 

  • Confirm the option 'Backup my data' and 'Automatic restore' to turn the switches ON.

 

  • Verify your Google account related with both the devices.

 

  • Tap on 'Home' button and return back to the main screen.

 

  • Go to the Apps, select 'settings', open 'Accounts', click on 'Google accounts'. (If you're using a Google Pixel account, select the 'Account sync' option).
