Wireless blueto

from web site

Only fairly recently has Wireless bluetooth been available in the form of wireless TV SET headphone sets. Although Wireless is a trademarked name, the technology is rented out to many companies who put it to use to hook up their devices. This is the same Bluetooth that lets cell phones hook up to one another and also to the little hands free units that clip onto the ear canal of folks that like to walk around major section stores looking like they're speaking with themselves.

In truth, I hear many people referring to those types of earpieces as "Bluetooth head sets" which, though not totally inaccurate, does infer that Bluetooth is a type of headset as opposed to a communication format. Therefore, it's worth bringing up that just because it uses the Bluetooth format for communicating, this does not suggest that Bluetooth wireless headphones for TV have to clip on to your ear. Again, Bluetooth is merely a communication format, and does not indicate the form or form of the headset at all.

Bluetooth works almost the same as RF (radio frequency). The main variations is that Bluetooth are operating in calculated pulses, and that it only has a range of about 30 feet. This range limitation is both a good thing and a bad thing.

It is a a valuable thing in that only indicators within 30 feet of either the receiver or that transmitter can cause distortion. Another advantage is that other people in your home can use devices that use radio without them overriding each other. Wireless bluetooth will generally not interfere with wireless routers or cordless phones, Bluetooth Transmitter though there are always exceptions to that rule. When dealing with radio waves, there is always a lttle bit of randomness to contend with, and you will never make certain exactly what's going to interact with what.

Still, it's a fairly safe guess that unless the router or cordless telephone base is sitting within 30 feet of the Bluetooth transmitter, you're not likely to get any interference from your wireless headsets for TV. Bluetooth is also encoded, so although it could cause interference in the form of white noise, simply the getting unit should be able to actually comprehend the sounds. The limited range may also be seen as a bad thing, though, because, in some instances, people do sit more than 30 feet away from their tv while watching it. In truth, with projection televisions, being more than 30 feet away is almost obligatory in order for the style to not look coarse.

Another downside to Bluetooth wireless TV headphones is that they're still very rare, and their future is not exactly certain. In fact, a search on Amazon yielded only a few of results, and not one of them look to be made specifically for TV, which may or might not exactly cause issues with technologies such as Dolby Surround Audio. So, even though can be used as wireless TELEVISION headphones, they might not work quite right.
