If you are looking for the information about how to configure Parental Controls on the Wi-Fi Routers, read this blog. We have explained in this blog in detail about how one can configure Parental Controls on the Wi-Fi Routers.

As a responsible parent you want to keep a control on the online activities of your child and that is perfectly OK. Suppose you want to control the time of the day your children or any other user are allowed to access the internet or even one step further you want to control which websites they can visit.

For example, you want to allow your children's device to access only few website like wikipedia.org, or acedmia.edu from 16:00 to 20:00 at weekends and not other than this, then follow the bellow steps.

  • Go to advance setting then Parental Controls and Enable Parental Controls.
  • Click on "Add", now click on "view existing devices", and select the device which you want to access. Or you can manually add the device by entering the Device name and MAC address.

  • Now to set the Internet Access Time click on the Select the appropriate cell and then click "OK".
  • For the entry enter a description and then click on the "Enable this entry" checkbox and then click on "OK".

  • As the restriction policy select "White list". If you select “black list” then the controlled device is not able to access the Internet using your home network.
  • Now click on "add a domain name" (which you want to access on your children's device), Enter the website and click on "save" button.

You have successfully controlled your children’s devices.
