Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes...and this time, it's all or nothing. This movie was so good! The action was unbelievable. The story was great. The dialog was slick. The entire movie had style. Such great fun! Jason was in unbelievable shape... Did he really eat just spinach and brown rice?? That dude I swear... How does he stay in that shape without being a professional body builder.... It's so exhilarating to see a solid, simple story that just makes sense, without any unnecessary twists and turns and extra baggages that somehow always turn stupid in the end like in most other action movies nowadays. It's great to see action movie makers with common sense. It's getting harder and harder to find. And if only the actions in most action films could be as intense and satisfying and jaw-dropping as this one. What a refreshing movie all around! And it's set in Vegas, who doesn't like a movie set in Vegas? I don't know what else to say other than go see this movie! The movie starts off with a quirky introduction to Jason Stathams character and Sofia Vergara. The introduction however has hardly anything to do with the plot... And it is a perfect example of the "why" sensation this movie will bestow upon you repeatedly. The action, as you would expect, is the best part of the film. Sadly we are given only 10 minutes in total of "Transporter"-action. That leaves us with a a lot of wasted time and an unsatisfied Statham costumer. Simon West's piece lacks eloquence and good actors. It gets stuck in long scenes that lead up to pointlessness, introductions of characters that are of no importance, and the long monologues that Jason Statham mumbles, try to give his character some depth, but really they're about as deep as a kiddie pool. By doubling down on a movie that yearns to be both introspective and bone-crunchingly cool, Wild Card overplays its hand. a5c7b9f00b
