A slightly unhinged cop is partnered with a veteran detective trying to maintain a low stress level in his life. I was only able to make it past the first episode of this sorry excuse for a remake. The actors were pretty awful, Daman Wayans was tolerable but the guy who played Riggs was just terrible. There's no weight to his sadness in this show. The only thing that got me through the first episode was a few neat action sequences but that was pretty much it. The so-called "comedy" is so forced and unfunny that I found myself congealing further and further into my couch after each joke. I hope this show is not green lit for another season because I hate to imagine FOX continuing with ruining a perfectly good movie with this laughable cash grab of a TV show.
