Survivors escape to a deserted atoll, after their boat during a Semester at Sea ship is sunk by a mutated two-headed shark. But when the atoll starts flooding, no one is safe from the double jaws of the monster.
Terror takes a ghastly form when a gigantic two-headed shark sinks a ship full of students, and the survivors wash up on a tiny atoll. But just when the kids think they're safe, a tsunami sweeps them back into the deep to face the twin jaws anew.
Asylum makes no apologies about making sci-fi movies that's geared to entertain. I like them for what they are. They have good actions, with giant fishes and reptiles.
As the title suggests a giant two headed shark terrorizes group of young vacationers. Good looking girls in bikini, and handful of men has to battle the monster shark on an island. Some of the scenes are preposterous, but I found the overall movie to be entertaining.
The movie looks like it was shot in the Caribbean, and the sceneries are beautiful.
It's a fun movie, and it's more entertaining than many other movies that are out there, that pretend to have substance. It's one of the better giant shark attack movie, and is recommended for viewing.
I really have to hand it to Syfy. They can take a concept as stupid as this, and actually manage to make a movie that is even dumber than it should be.
The movie is about a group of students who are attacked by a shark with two heads. The fact that it has two heads doesn't really factor into the movie all that much.
After their boat is damaged the kids take refuge on an atoll, but it becomes a race against time as the island will soon sink. I can't be bothered to remember the names of characters in movies I actually like, much less this piece of swill. The main character, who I will simply refer to as cottage cheese thighs, tries to fix the boat after the previous girl is gobbled up. Meanwhile she has to put up with the main human antagonist, an obnoxious jock with really awesome abs. Seriously, those abs are the only reason I sat through this thing. After he tries to escape on his own the other characters, none of whom were particularly interesting start getting eaten in mass. In the end Cottage Cheese Thighs has to try blowing up the shark, but by this time I had lost all interest in the movie without Abs.
Nineteen "Semester at Sea" students on an educational vessel, the Sea King, led by Professor Franklin Babish (Charlie O'Connell) and his wife Anne (Carmen Electra), along with three crew members, are forced to take shelter on a deserted island (which is repeatedly, incorrectly referred to as an atoll) after the hull of their boat is damaged by a dead megamouth shark when its body gets lodged in the boat's propeller. The island looks like an ideal place to spend 24 hours while Captain Laura (Morgan Thompson) repairs the damage, until it becomes apparent that the island is sinking into the ocean, and a huge, two-headed shark is patrolling the waters. 2-Headed Shark Attack was filmed from a story by Edward DeRuiter, and a screenplay by H. Perry Horton. Polycephalic (two-headed) animals are rare but not unheard of. There have been two-headed turtles, snakes, sheep, dogs, cats, etc. They are formed in the same way that conjoined twins are formed—when monozygotic twins fail to separate into two independent organisms. With the island sinking into the ocean, the water closing around them, and the two-headed shark hunting them, the last three survivors—Kirsten (Corinne Nobili), Kate (Brooke Hogan), and Paul (David Gallegos)—make a last ditch attempt to kill the shark by rigging up a gas barrel as an explosive. Kate swims out to attract the shark by dripping blood in the water from a wound on her hand, while Paul and Kirsten try to light the fuse, but it won't catch. Kirsten grabs the barrel and swims out with it, pounding on the metal, trying to lure the shark away from Kate and Paul. When the shark takes off after her, she explodes the barrel, killing herself and taking out one of the shark's two heads. When the remaining one-headed shark turns on Kate and Paul, Kate notices the dinghy nearby, starts up the outboard motor, and jumps off as the boat heads out to sea, the sound of the motor attracting the shark. The shark takes off after the boat and attempts to bite the propeller. The dinghy explodes, taking the shark with it. In the final scene, Kate and Paul crawl out of the water onto some rocks as a helicopter approaches to rescue them. a5c7b9f00b
