Balthazar Bratt, a child star from the 1980s, rises to power and wants world domination. As Gru and Lucy Wilde attempt to stop him from stealing the largest diamond in the world, they fail as he flies away. Gru and Lucy are fired by Valerie Da Vinci from the AVL, and are jobless. As Agnes tries to sell things to get money, Gru receives news he has a twin brother. He flies to Dru's location, but finds out he is a more successful and rich super villain. Dru wants Gru to team up for one more heist, which he gives in to. Without Lucy knowing, they plan to steal the largest diamond in the world from Bratt, as the Minions get themselves in prison.
After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother-a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin's despicable footsteps-one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.
This film tells the story of the ex-villain Gru, who teams up with his twin brother whom he has never met, in order to fight against the former famous child star in Hollywood who has become a horrible villain.
"Despicable Me 3" is so much fun! The plot is super funny as usual. The cinema laughed hard many times. Every character is cute, even the villains. Using bubblegum as a weapon is a novel idea, and it's actually fun. The mansion is crazily nice, abs the minions are cute as usual. I enjoyed it lots, and the many children in the cinema enjoyed it too.

This is my first review, only because I'm extremely mad. They advertise the minions everywhere, in McDonald's, in every single movie they show a minion affiliated clip, in YouTube, on shirts and flip flop, on school bags and lunch boxes, almost everything possible from a toothbrush to winter gloves and pencils, everything got a minion on it, but where are the minions in the movie? because there are none in the movie, only about 5min total of seeing minions all the rest are the human characters of the story, I came to see THE MINIONS, not some family drama, the kids came to see the funny minions, everyone from age 4 to 50 are enjoying the funny minions but there Aren't any minions in the movie. Where are the minions which I paid for? they are in 90% of the trailer, they are on every film poster, but NONE in the movie, Extremely disappointed
Two Steve Carells most assuredly aren’t better than one in Despicable Me 3, a winded sequel which is cloying when it isn’t exhaustingly frenetic.
