Air travel is the safest, the FAA says. But the FAA never figured the risk with Charles Rane on board. "The Rane of Terror" has masterminded four terrorist attacks. Soon there will be a fifth -- and that's bad news for the passengers on Flight 163. But there's good news too: the man in seat 57! Wesley Snipes plays John Cutter, an undercover security operative who enters the lavatory and exits to find Rane (Bruce Payne) and his gang have taken over. Cutter's next move is clear. Do. An airline security expert must take action when he finds himself trapped on a passenger jet when terrorists seize control of it.
First of all, Arsenio Hall did a great job as the kick ass action hero. The scene at the carnival wasn't very FAIR. I mean they only had 3 white guys versus 1 black one. Arsenio and walker Texas ranger would make an excellent team. Those two are totally cooler than Wesley Snipes. The head skyjacker was also the most believable Villain of all time! He is definitely NOT insane! The reason I'm sure is because he made that guy repeat it so often! It's unfortunate he didn't get to finish his audition for face off at the beginning of this movie. Too bad he didn't "bet on black"! This entire movie makes me look at all terrorists as British, half retarded, smooth talkers whose every line is so clique that I wonder if the men are even acting! They should have known to fly UNITED airlines next time!
This is an excellent film of the early 90's, I loved it a lot. This movie is nothing but a great fun kick-ass movie. This movie has a lot of action packed thriller, and the actors performances were absolutely terrific.
Wesley Snipes surely kicks some terrorist ass, with martial arts moves and he had a great acting. Elizabeth Hurley was very good in one of her first performances and she was excellent in being one of the bad guys in this movie.
This is one of my favorite plane movies. I hope to see it again on T.V, better yet, on DVD, since I have a new one at home right now.
