Frank Martin puts the driving gloves on to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukrainian government official, from Marseilles to Odessa on the Black Sea. En route, he has to contend with thugs who want to intercept Valentina's safe delivery and not let his personal feelings get in the way of his dangerous objective. Toxic waste bubbles in a ship waiting permission to dock in Odessa. Frank Martin turns down a job in Marseilles, referring it to a pal. A short time later, the pal, wounded by gunfire, crashes his car into Frank's living room and dies, leaving a young woman in the back seat. The employer of the dead man shows up, forces Frank to take the job, snaps a bracelet on his wrist that will explode if Frank gets more than 75 feet from his car, and sends Frank on a journey east with the young woman and a trunk full of something. She's Valentina, nearly mute. Can Frank figure out what's going on, deliver the package, and escape alive? And what does the ship have to do with it? Statham finds himself forced to do a transportation job he doesn't want to do when the man he suggested in his place fails and the bad guys hook him up with a device that will explode if he tries to leave his car. He doesn't know what he's supposed to deliver or why a young Russian woman has to go with him. A serviceable action flick that gets by on Statham's inherent likability. Cory Yuen choreographs the fighting and it's not bad, but Olivier Megaton has a tendency to cut too often and spoil a fight scene. The action isn't incoherent as so much fast cutting renders in these days, but it does dull the impact significantly. Transporter 3 was a very fast paced action thrill ride. It had many mind blowing scenes. Many great car chase scenes as well. The stunts and stun driving in this movie was awesome. The acting in this movie was very good besides for the main actress. I think that she could've used a little bit of work. The visuals were nice and very cool. The story was good but nothing special just enough to pass with. I think this was a great third movie to what is becoming a great series. Jason Statham is very good and becoming a very big action icon. The movie was very entertaining and didn't let up at any moment. I liked the setting where the movie took place. The story added a love connection. This is a good action movie to see for the fall. Overall I would recommend this to action fans. In a series elevated by high-flying ridiculousness, Transporter 3 falls a couple of sequences short of the standard, but it does show off Statham's considerable dirt-biking skills. For that, at least, it's kinda rad. The song that sounded like the 'Stones' was in actual fact 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' by Iggy Pop & The Stooges. "Set It On Fire" by Eve. a5c7b9f00b
