I actually really like the actor Cress Williams, but other than than, this show is god awful. Somehow in the writer's minds, they decided to portray white people as bad and black people as either being drug dealers, pimps, full on SJW's that really have no clue about reality. They just keep bring up being slaves and the civil rights movement, but they can't really identify the extreme racism in today's society except for them making two white cops racist for no reason in the first episode. Is there police profiling and is there racism? Yes. Is there enough racism in today's age to make a show like this spout their propaganda, hell no.
When the African American community complains about not being in certain movies, even though the story or movie doesn't actually call for it, it makes me wonder what they were thinking with this show...It's 99 percent black cast and 1 percent white. Where is the outrage about not being diverse enough, it's laughable that people don't see the double standard and hypocrisy.
So lets keep in separate! ;)
Acting is great, stories are raw and reality based, as much as you can with a guy with lightning for powers. Really enjoy the show, have no idea why there are so many bad reviews, maybe they got this mixed up with that cheesy DC Legends lol. But man, you not seen this yet your missing out, must watch TV! ;)
