I was really looking forward to this show. I am 47 years old and I loved lethal weapon, but i was not a rabid fan. I watched the show with only my 14 year old daughter. We Loved it. My Daughter stated that she Hates all the Cops shows, that are on now, but she said this show was awesome, realistic and unexpected. I loved the show because on the depression/suicidal basic issues, it felt real. The way it dealt with depression and suicidal ideations was really to the core. When they said that Riggs could not kill himself because his wife would be ashamed, that was great!!!! I deal with Major depression, but I function with schooling and a great job. The only thing I did not like was the constant reference to the "gift" for the 50th birthday. The show could have done other things to reference this. I found this obnoxious. Please Keep this show going. I LOVE IT !!!!!
I do not really watch all the series.. I just stumbled upon this one & IT IS AWESOME...
The chemistry between two is nice & soothing to ears.. You don't get such chemistry a lot nowadays..
