The Wiggles throw a surprise party for Dorothy the Dinosaur, while she goes after a magician who takes Greg's magic wand to become popular.
I have two children (2 and 4) and my wife and I have had to watch a lot of kids videos over and over again. Even the Disney classics start to wear thin after the fifth or sixth time.
The Wiggles are refreshing and fun. They don't treat your kids like idiots (like Barney). The songs are fun, the lyrics are easy to learn, and the music is surprisingly good.
They make the kids get up and dance and have fun, and they don't annoy the adults. What more could you ask for in a kids movie.
(Be forewarned, you may catch yourself singing the tunes at work)
I have 16 month old twins and they are addicted to The Wiggles. The first few times we caught the TV show, I couldn't understand the attraction. Why these guys instead of say, Sesame Street? We bought The Wiggles movie and they love it, they dance along with the music and I get a break for 20-30 minutes.
I did a little research and found out that three of the guys in the Wiggles are qualified preschool teachers. They met at school when they were studying early childhood education. They must know what they're doing, my kids aren't easily entertained at this age and they stop in their tracks if they hear a Wiggles song or see the Wiggles on TV. I recommend this movie to anyone with kids age 6 and under.
