In the near future, 10 death row convicts are forced to compete in a virtual reality game that pits them against dinosaurs and each other.
The movie was great as a movie. It probably deserves 7/10 because it really has issues like bad GCI and some silly things. But to make a little balance I set 10/10. The movie was highly entertaining. The story concept is simple. But the situations are inventive enough. The name of the movie probably hints that it is a mix of Hunger Games and Jurassic Park. And it's kinda is. But it starts from the action right away. The movie also has some ingenious irony. Also inspired by Hunger Games I guess. This irony probably will not be catched and appreciated by majority as it is an irony on majority.
The movie is a little bit a parody.
Tho there is nothing really smart in this movie, but I would say it is smarter than most of the high budget action movies.
Very enjoyable movie.
Loved this film I enjoyed the special effects but then I love dinosaur movies. It borrowed from the running man film with Arnie. The end has a double Wammy where the end you expect is suddenly switched. You get to hate the other nine contestants and love the hero. Though it is set in a virtual world the death is real. There are some unexpected twists especially the ending. We had T.Rex, Velocorapters, man eating plants, Tricerotops and pterodactyls what's not to like. I really enjoyed this film. Action from start to finish and presenters who get what they deserve.
