A brilliant billionaire named Carl Durant is experimenting on bull sharks, which soon rebel to cause havoc for a group of scientists. The acting was atrocious all around. I wanted all of the characters to die. The plot had so many holes, the script was likely written by a middle school student, and the set was obviously low budget. I made the mistake of watching it before looking at the IMDB rating. After the torturous hour and a half, I looked on IMDB, saw the 3.2 rating (which is generous), and then saw that the channel "SyFy" had purchased the movie. Oh my, that's worse than straight to DVD. If you are looking for a good shark movie, don't waste your time with this one. The sharks don't really get enough screen time. This movie wasn't all that bad, but it doesn't deserve to be the sequel to "Deep Blue Sea". It's just another Direct to DVD killer shark genre addition, with the "Deep Blue Sea" tagline to draw in an audience. It's worth a watch if you enjoy movies about killer sharks. It had some nice set pieces and CGI was pretty solid. I just never understand why they don't use Great White Sharks. Bull Sharks... really? a5c7b9f00b
