A new assignment forces a top spy to team up with his football hooligan brother.
Nobby Graves is a working class man, with a wife and several kids, living in Grimsby. His brother, Sebastian, went missing 28 years ago and he hasn't seen him since. Little does he know that Sebastian is now a secret agent with MI6. Sebastian is currently working on foiling an attempt by a terrorist organisation to disrupt a prestigious event and kill a famous actress and social activist. Nobby goes to the event to meet Sebastian but hinders Sebastian's operation, making Sebastian look like the perpetrator of a terrorist act. Trying to track down the actual terrorists while on the run from the law, the two brothers now need to rely on each other more than ever.
After all these years passed from his last parody "The dictator" i felt i had really missed the great sense of humor of Sasha. His last movie was the best antidote! Worth watching since the last second, it is for sure that you will catch yourself crying out of laughs even when Sasha push it to the limit, especially if you love these extreme scenes which are Sasha's trademark. Even though the plot is really simple,all the characters are very well presented making a strong statement against our society's ill situations.Even England's's pride manage the miracle in Nobi's world, where brotherhood and family are on top of values list. I really enjoyed the film and i strongly recommend it to everyone, even to those who find Sasha weird since this film is a great beginning to go one step closer to BORAT, the greatest movie of all time!
dumbest movie ever. there were times i had to cover my eyes and struggled to not throw up. Isla fisher showed a shred of acting skill. the conjugal time of Baren Cohen and his wife was disgusting. the kids acted well and were very cute in portraying the story they did, touching; and is one of the 2 reasons I have given this a 4 2nd being that they made the elephant a part of the story line.
didn't feel like i got the worth of my money. additionally wasted almost 2 hours of my life that i am never gonna get back.
moral of the story, if you have a lot of time to waste and a lot of money or like stupid movies go and watch this; otherwise don't bother.
Baron Cohen and Strong are both robustly physical performers, and their finest moments are when they’re grappling with each other, producing a great tangle of limbs and teeth. But the script, credited to Baron Cohen, Phil Johnston and Peter Baynham (based on a story by Baron Cohen and Johnston), is not especially generous to the other members of the cast.
