This film is a great adventure powered by the consummate professional and greatly loved global film star Jackie Chan, which is completely justified. The plot, locations, supporting cast and acting make this one of the best. Hold on now, criticism will be flying, but as good as any Bond movie or Hollywood A listers.
If you want to watch an awesome film and come out feeling fantastic, this hits the spot bang on.

Finally watch all the credits and out takes, you understand the true passion his cast and crew have for this man and their joint sense of humour and respect.

Don't understand the low rating. This was a decent Jackie Chan signature action comedy sci-fi-esque family popcorn flick that was pretty entertaining and well made, that isn't worse than any of the Jackie Chan Hollywood films. The story is not the main focus here and is just a backdrop to unleash some action, as in every Jackie Chan movie. However there were some interesting ideas in this movie and character development that made me curious. So I would not shy away from a next installment and sequel.
The closest comparison for this film is 2017’s joyfully schlocky Beyond Skyline, though that boasted far more original set pieces. Bleeding Steel seems content to rehash old ones, cutting and pasting Chan into familiar scenes, with the welcome exception of one battle that takes place atop the Sydney Opera House — but I’ll be damned if I could figure out why or how they got there.
