The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets. Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, Mirage (aka Dino), Wheeljack (aka Que) and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action taking on the evil Decepticons, who are eager to avenge their recent defeat. The Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the United States and Russia to reach a hidden Cybertronian spacecraft on the moon and learn its secrets, and once again Sam Witwicky has to go to the aid of his robot friends. The new villain Shockwave is on the scene while the Autobots and Decepticons continue to battle it out on Earth. We loved the movie but their were many unanswered questions? What about Machaila. Who is the new girl with the fake lips and poor acting skills. Other than a shot-tie exchange of female key actresses, the action was fantastic. Their are a couple of scenes showing action in slow motion with the new girl and her lips look horrible, eyes seem to be sunken in and she was way to tall for the kid. Why was she always wearing white and High Heels???? Really!!! The shift in the plot and graphics...WOW...my wife even got into it. We all believe if Megan was still an active member, it would have been so much. better. Some key characters die and you really don't expect to see more enemies come out but maybe if the good guys had more the make the fights larger, should of helped. One the poorest acting movies I have seen this year. It is too noisy, an obsolete ploy and hardly convincing in any of the actions. The director has no commitment into making a movie. Though teenagers may like it because the plot is good for their "education" in Computing graphics. Rosie Huntington looks like an ancient tree. Shia LeBeouf shines only in making the plot less credible. The rest of the cast can be replaced simply by CG too if the movie production house wants it. It is a shame for a good comics to be produced in such a poor way. Think this way, you want to see a good comics turned movie, take a look at spiderman, X-Men: First class. Amid the windy speeches, fiery explosions, exposition dumps, and product placements, there are a few treats to help the intelligent moviegoer - drawn to Dark of the Moon by peer pressure or kitsch factor or an insatiable desire for overstimulation - through the ordeal.
