One day, 14-year-old Yusuke Urameshi suddenly finds himself dead, having died pushing a child out of the way of oncoming traffic. Since he has such a bad personality, even the Spirit World was caught by surprise that he would sacrifice himself. Yusuke soon finds out he wasn't supposed to die and has a chance for resurrection and bringing his body back to life. After being resurrected, Yusuke becomes a Spirit Detective, along with his comrades, and one adventure after another happens, whether it be an investigation or a fighting tournament.
OK lets get started. This show is by far the worst animation ever seen on the face of the planet. I'd rather watch 20 episodes of sailor moon then watch 5 minutes of this show again. The names range from annoying to just plain stupid. like yushkie or kurama. The hair style is a complete copy of Dragon ball z. in fact every thing in this show is a copy of Dragon ball z. Every one says that this show is so bad because it has and slashing,you know what I say,Parents let there kids watch kill bill,the punisher and the last samurai so I'm that parents would not have a problem letting there kids watch yu yu hakusho.I guess I'm just trying to say that this is the WORST ANIMATION PERIOD!!!
Ki is not Reiki OR Yokai.
Now before you say something like this:
"Ki= Life force energy. Gohan getting beat up by Frieza- Goku: "Oh no! It's Gohan's Ki! It's getting weaker!"
Spirit Energy= Life force energy. Can't think of a good quote right now, but I DO know that he can't use his Spirit Gun and attacks like that if he's tired or severely wounded to the point where he is about to faint. However, there was that time at the Dark Tournament where he couldn't use his powers, but was perfectly healed. I'm not sure about that, but I do know that they've said it numerous times: SPIRIT ENERGY IS LIFE FORCE ENERGY."
You're wrong about Reiki and and ki being the same thing. Ki is, as you said, the life energy of an individual, but that isn't the same with Reiki. Look at the final attack that Yusuke used against Suzaku; it was stated that he had ran out of Reiki and was using his life force to fuel the Shotgun. Obviously that means that the two aren't the same or there would be no need for distinguishing the two.
