A military vessel on the search for an unidentified submersible finds themselves face to face with a giant shark, forced to use only what they have on board to defend themselves from the monstrous beast. I enjoyed the story line, but was hard to get over the inaccurate depiction of the Navy. A 2-star admiral with a shaggy haircut, saluting indoors, enlisted personnel with no rank insignia, Branch/Name Strips different colors, but the biggest one is repeatedly calling her Commander, where she is clearly wearing Lieutenant bars. I realize it's illegal to copy the uniform exactly, but as a Navy vet, they could have done their homework better in that regard. Still, I did enjoy the movie. I have seen some really bad and stupid movies in my life but this one is right there with "Force 9 from outer space".
