John Marston, former outlaw, is forced by the federal government to hunt down the members of his old gang.
John Marston is being blackmailed by government lawmen to hunt down his former partners-in-crime. Driven further into the American Southwest, Marston soon finds that Williams has crossed into Mexico, a country in the throes of a civil war. At every turn, Marston must choose whether to side with outlaws or innocents in the crossfire.
Rockstar games proved that perfection can be possible, with their spiritual successor: Red dead redemption. It has all the qualities to be a PERFECT game, the story, the characters, mechanics, heck even the mini games are perfect. You start as John Marston who is in debt to the Bureau of Investigation, looking for his old buddies: Javier Escuella, Bill Williamson, and Dutch. John didn't want to, but the bureau took away their wife (Abigail Marston) and his son (Jack Marston). But it's not everything, there is trouble on the south too! Mexico is on a problem with the government against Agustin Allende. You and Abraham Reyes most stop Allende for the independence of Mexico. Along this journey you will find A LOT of interesting characters: Seth, Bonnie Macfarlane, Marshal John, Nigel West Dickens, and it goes on and on! Also the story is really deep, it only works when you ROLEPLAY into the game, but apart from all the happiness and such. The ending leaves you sad, and wishes you never worked for the Bureau in the game, that's all I'm saying I am not going to spoil it all.
10/10 PERFECT experience for new and experienced gamers
I played this a LONG time ago I think in 2010 or 2011 before I went online. It takes place in 1911, the last days of the wild west. It's pretty much GTA in the wild west but there's also an honor, morality system so don't go too crazy. If you do you can get a bandanna to protect your honor.
There's also horse's that act as cars but don't push them too hard or they'll buck you off. Kick you with they're hind legs that is. Even some poker games and it also has a online co-op DLC (Down Loadable Content) that's free if you want to play with others. As well as some other free downloads too. At least on the PSN as far as I know.
I didn't play much of the Undead Nightmare DLC because I played the game to the end. I'm just going to say near the ending you'll be shocked and think "That can't actually happen" but that was how the wild west was. Everyone was a swindler and only the quickest survived.
It is possible that the developers did not base the Strange Man on any religious figure, whether it be Saint Peter, (a) God or Death. This is supported by the fact that no matter if the player chooses the honorable or dishonorable way of completing the task, he will always say "I hope my boy turns out to be just like you."
It is also possible that he is a manifestation of John Marston's sense of right and wrong, testing his morals and forcing John to make decisions on matters he may have seen or heard about previously. The Strange Man reveals a detailed knowledge of John Marston's history. He is impeccably dressed in a three piece suit with a large top hat. The man appears to be calm and collected, even in the arid wilderness. He is also able to identify John Marston whenever Marston approaches him, without actually looking at him. When questioned, he claims to be "an accountant... in a way" but also claims he cannot remember his own name. Undead Nightmare is an expansion story, which actually takes place after John returns to his family in between the levels The Outlaw's Return and The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed. While in the game, it could simply be days that pass for the player, but in terms of the story a few months go by. As we see many characters that survived through the story of RDR return in Undead Nightmare, most of whom are killed off. Also, characters that died in the RDR story will return as zombies in the graveyards. That being said, there are two continuity errors in Undead Nightmare. First, MacDougal mentions Nastas and neither MacDougal or John seem to recall him being dead, and also Uncle was killed during the mission "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed" yet he is also zombified and killed at the beginning of Undead Nightmare.
Undead Nightmare ends with John saving his family, and stopping the plague. Then we flash forward to a few months passed RDR where John has been dead and buried to see Seth unwittingly unleash the undead plague once again. At which point John rises from the grave as the body of a zombie with the soul of a man in order to continue to fight the undead hoard. a5c7b9f00b
