Based on the IDW Comic, Wynonna Earp follows Wyatt Earp's great great-granddaughter as she battles demons and other creatures. With her unique abilities and a posse of dysfunctional allies, she's the only thing that can bring the paranormal to justice.
It may have a low budget but this show is a must see!
The protagonist is a broken 27 year old women who returns to her home town of Purgatory and realizes that she is stuck with being the heir to Wyatt Earp's curse.
Doc Holliday sums things up nicely 'Purgatory is overrun by demon revenants aka Wyatt Earp's resurrected outlaws, Bobo Del Ray is their leader, I am Doc Holliday, yes That Doc Holliday, and Dolls here he's just a dick'
It's sci-fi meets western, set in today's time. The writing is top- notch and has a bit of everything. The casting is perfection!
Thirteen episode were not nearly enough but thankfully Syfy finally renewed it for a second season...thanks largely to the show's awesome fandom!
The only thing stopping me from giving this 10 out of 10 is purely due to it's low budget. What the show's crew do with their budget it pretty amazing.
It is an entertaining, easy to watch, and re-watch, and re-watch show. Let's hope the word gets out and the show's ratings improve so that we get many more seasons.

Because of the cheap Loonie, the Canadian industry has turned in a bountiful source of "produce" for many cable channels looking to fill slots they can sell ads into.
This bargain basement product is so desirable that buyers will lower their standards to snag it. By that I mean, weaker acting, writing, casting, locals, SFX, the whole 9 yards.
This horrible show is a textbook example of a major channel lowering standards to get a product that everyone makes money on.
