The Joker has escaped from Arkham and Batman must once again bring him in - once and for all. Unfortunately for the bat, there is something even more sinister than the Joker waiting in the alley for the dark knight detective.. Life isn't fair. The Joker escapes from Arkham Asylum. Bruce Wayne puts on his Batman suit, mask, and cape, and goes in pursuit. He's soon found the Joker and begins a fight to subdue the red-eyed, sneering villain. Then, suddenly, things take a surprising turn: the Joker becomes the least of Batman's worries. New enemies appear: it's as if he's found himself in another set of comic books. Can he hold his own? Remember that this fan film was created and released in 2003 and it's STILL a cult/underground hit, and has spun off lots of 'unofficial' custom merchandise (batman dead end costumes, 'dead end' action figures, etc.) It also spun off other fan films. One that was really well-done was 'Grayson' (about Robin, the boy wonder). Also the same Dead End Director (Collora) did an even-lower budget trailer, "World's Finest" about Batman and Superman (using the same Batman actor and a buff superman actor). Lots of folks have critiqued these directors and fan films, but I have yet to see a better job, regardless of any size of budget. And, just imagine if the 'Dead end' director did a real batman movie! The costume is much more 'true' to the comic form than the current batman big-screen flicks, I think. Best batman flick since the Tim Buton/Micheal Keaton era. In one short independent film this movie Beats the crud out of batman forever and Batman and robin. (If you wanna even count "batman and Robin" as a batman movie, or as a movie for that matter) If you haven't seen this I highly recommend it. Its a definite must-see for any fan of Batman. It would seriously rule if the producers at warner brothers would greenlight sandy corrolla the means to make a 90 minute version of this movie, that would be something worth the trip,and price of admission to see.Its a shame hes not directing Batman begins, but it maybe they should take it in to consideration for the next film. Unfortunately most big budget movies never seem to reach their full potential and I personally think its sad that these Hollywood fat cats, with their multi million dollar budgets, cant seem to out do the average independent film maker, with nothing but a camera, and a vision. One would think that one of these small time talents could hit the big-time and rock the box office, and maybe, dare I say it, raise the expectations of joe and jane movie-goer, and maybe then, just maybe, one wouldn't go to the movie theaters knowing there is a 70% chance he wasted his or her hard earned money. a5c7b9f00b
