Friends Tim and Daisy, 20-something North Londoners with uncertain futures, must pretend to be a couple to live in the only apartment they can afford. The adventures of Tim and Daisy who rent a room in Marsha Klein's house under the pretense that they are a couple. Also in the house is frustrated painter Brian. Together with TA fanatic Mike and Daisy's girlfriend Twist the duo get into a series of situations with hilarious results. I am astonished that the first comment ive read about this tv series is a bad one. In my mind this is one of the best english comedies to date, maybe its because i can relate to almost every subject covered by the series or maybe it is just because it is really really good. Everyone i know who has half a brain that has watched it has absolutely loved it. Ive bought both series on dvd and often watch a episode or two when im bored. Ive seen both series at least 8 times or more and never get bored with it. I cant wait until they bring out another series (unfortunately all production is on hold the last i heard). Basically if you love star wars you should love this, if you love classic zombie horrors such as dawn of the dead or evil dead then you will love this, if you love sex drugs and rock 'n roll and general student life then you should love this. in short: BUY IT!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love spaced. it ranks up there as my favourite comedy program of all time, even beatin Alan Partridge. Me n te girlfriend have spent many a happy night watching it again and again on DVD. Its a brilliant pastiche of homages to nearly every cult flick going, spotting where all the scenes come from is half the fun.
