After her father was murdered and her license taken away, Brooklyn detective Cat Sullivan partners with a taxi cab driver Leo Romba to be her unofficial police consultant. While she and Leo solve cases and put away criminals Cat partners with her ex husband to find out who killed her father. TAXI: BROOKLYN is an action-comedy police procedural centered on the fractious, closely bonded partnership between a streetwise Marseilles-born New York City taxi driver and an intensely driven NYPD detective for whom this immigrant cabbie becomes chauffeur, insider on the streets, and unofficial partner. This show couldn't seem to decide between being a serious police procedural or a comedy. Sadly, it failed miserably at both. Very surprised that it lasted 12 episodes. It is completely ridiculous beyond belief! Stumbled across a trailer for the series and thought i would give it a shot. Glad i did so. We have an underlying plot associated with Detective Caitlyn Sullivan that will come in to fruition towards the end of season 1 im guessing. In the meantime With a fresh approach to a cop show and great chemistry between the 2 main actors i am definitely behind this action packed drama thats taken a different approach from the forensic side of police drama TV e.g csi, castle, etc...

This show is outside the box when it comes to police drama. If you don't like the different approach im sure you will find another 10 cop dramas that offer the same boring conclusion like castle, Murder In The First, CSI....
