A group of friends become involved in a potentially deadly diamond heist.
A group of friends plan out a detailed heist that turns deadly when one betrays the other by taking off with the goods. Taking matters into his own hands, Sonny seeks out his revenge teaming up with the most dangerous mob boss in town to get back what is rightfully his. When he finally comes face to face with his longtime friend he will be forced to make a life changing choice.
(25%) A direct to DVD crime action flick staring a rapper who really can't carry a movie, Bruce Willis who's earning a pay cheque, and the guy with the cauliflower ears from the expendables movies. The plot is tried and tested, and has been done far too many times for something as utterly routine as this to make any sort of impact. To top it off, this actually knows that it's not only poorly crafted, but maybe even worse, indicates that it has such low opinions of its audience that key characters are actually labeled such as "The driver", "The mob boss", "The hit-man" etc so even simpletons can keep up, and the writers can go home early. But really if they wanted to make sure nobody gets left behind they should have made a better movie because towards the second half I couldn't really care anymore about anything. This isn't terrible, but even for a direct to video, is why too average to make any sort of mark.
This movie from start to finish was just bad. I decided to give it one star because there were a few points that were kind of funny (some just awkward) but enough that made me at least want to see the ending.
This film had two things working against it from the beginning. The Script and 50 Cent. Even a great actor like Bruce Willis could not make this script sound fluent. There were many parts where it was just weird the way he delivered the lines. Some of the dialogue felt like it was out of an early 90's horror flick. And, 50 cent, I mean come on. At least if they had cast someone with a smidgen of acting ability, he could of tried to carry the main character and storyline a little more. But having 50 cent try to do it was laughable.
I'd have to say that this move is below a B flick. I would not waste my time, but after I got halfway through and wanted to turn it off, I had already invested 40 minutes of my life.
