Following an ace assassin who is double crossed by gangsters and falls into the hands of rogue surgeon known as The Doctor who turns him into a woman. The hitman now a hitwoman sets out for revenge, aided by a nurse named Johnnie who also has secrets. After waking up and discovering that he has undergone gender reassignment surgery, an assassin seeks to find the doctor responsible. This is a wonderful A movie. It directly hits on all points of sexuality with a wonderful sense of humor and a great Mystery. There is no fantasy aspect involved at all. It's all physical and mental psych. Very funny also. It doesn't drag. Or maybe it does. It works on all levels of Trans. All of the actors are amazeballs or removal of said balls with real boobs. CGI Penis was great. Michelle Rodriguez did a FINE Job. A Really Fine job. My only very slight complaint is she didn't swing her bat very well. I was a softball player. But that could have been part of the whole trans thing to as part of the story. This movie is so much fun and shot with perfection. All of the actors are just wonderful and having fun. Its all story and virtually not one bit of gore. Very Very Very good. Also so very very. sexy. I totally agree that this film is very unusual and not so surprising from Walter Hill, a big specialist in grabe B pictures, but a high rank B movies, not garbage films at all. This story is interesting on many points, but is far from being flawless. But topics that take risks are never flawless. I did not appreciate this much. The editing could have been a little simpler; that's my own opinion. But seeing Sigourney Weaver as the heavy of the feature is also a rather good surprise. Nobody — not even viewers willing to settle for good, unclean B-movie fun — is done any favors by something as crude as (re)Assignment, which gracelessly mashes together hardboiled crime-melodrama cliches and an unintentionally funny “Oh no!
