A video game about a british espionage agent sent back in time to a failed mission aboard Titanic. At stake: The fate of the entire world!
The player is a British spy, Frank Carlson, who failed to board the Titanic and complete his objectives there that could have prevented both World War I and II. In 1940, during the London Blitz, a Nazi bomb falls on Carlson's home in London and the blast sends him back in time to Titanic a few days before it hit the iceberg. Frank now has a second chance to complete his objectives, find secret war plans that can prevent WW I and consequently WW II and track down a painting that's the key to the whole mystery. In his way, save for the running clock, are various spies on board, all of whom have their own plans for shaping the future of the world. The game is a first person point and click adventure that doesn't focus on inventory and item-collecting but instead gives the player many objectives that a real spy would have gotten such as using a telegraph to send a coded message or determining through chitchat which of the passengers might be spies. The game has multiple endings ranging from bad to perfect.
I received this game last Christmas and thought it would be really cool. I loaded it onto my computer and I thought it was really fun. The visual effects were just outstanding. It made me feel like I was actually on the ship. While playing the game, I got to talk to several people on the ship. Some were rude while others were quite friendly. Let me tell you this: if you need to go someplace soon (such as school or work), I suggest that you not play this game until you get home. You get so into it, time will really fly by.
This past April 14TH & 15TH 1912 - 2012 marked the 100 Anniversary of The Sinking Of The Titanic. Such a loss of life it is hard to believe that from out of that tragedy would inspire someone to create a Computer Game such as "Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time" copy right 1996. But it did. On March 9, 2007-1:30 PM. At a Local Salvation Army I bought a 2 CD set of Titanic not really thinking what it was I thought is was a documentary of it's sinking I finally realized it was a game when I placed in my computer to view watch and/or read thinking to myself. What? This is a game how very odd taking such a historical event with the loss of life that someone would think or turning it into a game. The next thing you know the movie will come out. With all respects to James Cameron's movie but the plot of this very game made into a movie does have interest to me. I lobby for either Danial Craig or to Jason Statham star as the secret agent after all the part should go to a Englishman. What do you who reads this think? Sounds like a good plot to a good movie rather than a computer game? Right? Second to Irwin Allen's Television Series "The Time Tunnel" Pilot titled "Rendezvous With Yesterday" this computer game would if some Movie Maker produces a movie of this game it would be added to The Science Fiction Movie Genre So I wounder if anybody here that has played this game and what are your thought of it?? And what would you think of it being turned into a Science Fiction Movie? Who would you cast as the star of it or have I hit the mark on who should play The Secret Service Agent??
