Vampirella, a sexy vampiress in a skimpy costume, travels from Drakulon to Earth to seek revenge on the evil vampires who murdered her father. Adam Van Helsing, leader of a high-tech, globe-trotting, anti-vampire squad helps out. Thirty centuries ago on the planet Drakulon a cult led by Vlad kills the Council and escapes to earth to become the bloodsuckers known as vampires. Ella, daughter of the slain High Elder, pursues the cult with vengeance in her heart. Shipwrecked for centuries on Mars, she eventually gets to earth as stowaway on a manned expedition. On present day earth Adam, a descendant of the Van Helsings, works for PURGE, a paramilitary group dedicated to hunting vampires. Ella is now known as Vampirella, and must form an uneasy alliance with Adam in order to locate and deal with their common enemy, Vlad. This is a underrated classic. It is a sequel to Dracula. It has a great story line. It also has great acting. 3.7 is underrating it. I give 10 out of 10 because it is very scary. This is one of the scariest movie of all time. Dracula (March 1931) is better. Nosferatu (1922) is also better. Dracula (1992) is also better. Still this a good movie. It is a lot better then Nosferatu (1979). That movie stinks. This is a great movie. This movie is better then Dracula (April 1931) This is one of the best horror film of all time. It is a true horror classic. Dracula's Daughter is better. But still this movie is a must see. Son of Dracula is better. If you intend to watch this once, it's not a bad way to kill an hour and half but it's not one that requires repeated viewing. While it's better than you might expect...Roger Daltrey in particular gives the film a much needed boost of life and energy but he's the only truly capable performer in this film. There's some neat genre in-references for fans and some cool cameos but the rest is forgettable (the dialogue, the acting aside from Daltrey's Vlad) and disappointing (Soto just doesn't measure up to expectations I'm afraid and neither does the costume). 646f9e108c
