Batman faces off against the original creature of the night, Count Dracula, who has been unintentionally resurrected by the Penguin. this is a great movie.it has a very good story,good characters, and lots of action.it's also very creepy at times,and there an air of eeriness to the movie.you definitely can fell a sense of danger and jeopardy for both The Batman and the rest of Gotham city.the main villain and the other characters are well written.the movie is very engaging and compelling.as well,the voice acting is very well done.the voices and characters really fit together.this may be the best animated Batamn movie yet,and it ranks right up there with live action movies as well.if you're into Batman,you should enjoy this movie.i have to give "The Batman vs Dracula" a solid 9/10 Talk about taking a ridiculous concept and having fun with it. Sure, the title "The Batman vs Dracula" might sound ridiculous and campy, but this is far from campy. If anything, this is a horror movie with Batman characters. I remember seeing this when it aired on Cartoon Network years ago and being terrified of it. Granted I was 10 when that happened, but even at 21 there are some sick moments. Although I'd say that's mostly due to me being creeped out by animated blood. No joke, normal blood, I'm OK with, not the easiest thing for me to watch outside of movies, but animated blood is a different story. It must be some sort of childhood connection to cartoons that makes me uneasy when I see blood in them. I grew up on "Dexter's Laboratory" and "The Powerpuff Girls", these didn't have blood in them. It's a very odd weakness, but anyway this movie is awesome. I hope I'm able to get started on "The Batman" series before the Bat-a-thon ends, because unlike the other animated shows, I'm not familiar with "The Batman". If this is what the series is capable of, then we're off to a good start. The animation's fast paced and stunning, the art is cool, I'll get to the character designs when I get to the show itself, the story is creepy and dark. It's a winner, through and through. If you're looking for an animated Batman movie with supernatural elements and dark art, look no further. A time-frame isn't specified but, given that Batgirl and Detective Yin aren't in the movie, this probably takes place in between the second and third seasons of the Kids' WB! animated series The Batman (2004) (2004-2008).
