A gangster is torn between love and loyalty and he must review his choice to whom he has to choose.
Brought up by a gangster named Bharat Malik, Shivam Pandit lives a faithless and reckless lifestyle, doing the bidding of his mentor - which also includes being a hit-man. Bharat does not get along with his brother, Raj, and nephew, Munna, who also resent the fact that Bharat trusts Shivam more than he even trusts his son, Ronnie. Shivam's life does change when he meets and falls in love with a devout Muslim woman, Aaliyah. Shivam wants to wed Aaliyah, but her father opposes this due to Shivam's criminal background, and the fact that he has been in prison twice. When Shivam insists on getting married regardless of the consequences, Aaliyah's dad aims a gun at him, but Shivam ducks and the bullet hits Aaliyah, killing her instantly. Shivam returns to his aimless lifestyle, this time in Hong Kong, still continuing to work for Bharat. When Bharat asks him to spy on his Pakistani mistress, Reema, Shivam does so, and finds out that she has a lover named Bilal. Shivam agrees to it but finally has a change of heart when he sees parallel between Reema and the caged birds Aaliyah used to sell to people for the purpose for freeing them from the cage. This leads to a face off between Shivam and Bharat leading to the movie's climax.
You are going to waste your day watching this movie.
The fight scenes are comical, hero's inspiration is shallow.
Heroine's Childlike devotion to God is good in parts.
The movie has modern sets with character's attitudes based in the 16th century.
Some scenes are breathtaking. Especially views of Dubai are awesome. The photography is slick. The acting is good in most parts. The storyline sucks absolutely. The attitudes of the characters are alien. This movie is disappointing especially coming from the house of Bhatts!
To sum up, it is much ado about nothing and an absolute waste of time.
Well guys..this is one good movie you are not suppose to miss.a movie which really has a soul in it.the movie begins with a girl(Reema played by Mrinalini Sharma) being kidnapped and is trapped in life where she is a slave to Mittal(played by Ashutosh Rana..who is brilliant),she is in love with someone else but now has to lead a life of a slave to Mittal.Mittal asks Shivam(Emraan Hashmi)to keep an eye on Reema as he doubts whether she is carrying on with some one else.Shivam also has a past where he was in love with Aaliya(Shreya Saran)but was unfortunate to have her love for his entire life.when he meets Reema he remembers Aaliya's words of freedom.Shivam who works for Mittal is being told to kill Reema when he comes to know that she loves someone else.But will Shivam really kill her or will give her freedom?if he has to give her freedom of love then he has to face many consequences.for further story watch the ride of life...Awarapan.and yeah..u will be surprised with Emraan Hashmi's acting as he proves that he can be brilliant too..so enjoy
