The title alone already makes you want to laugh, doesn't it? In this episode, Krang and Shredder plan to take over the Earth using accelerated global warming under their control. Shredder is having a grand old time
until his mother shows up. Shredder's mom is the classic blend of a disappointed mother and a super villain. She constantly berates Shredder, much to Krang's amusement. Krang and Shredder nearly succeed in frying the Earth, but the Turtles manage to stop them in time with the help of their shuttle pilot, General Yogurt. I like this episode thanks to the comical introduction of Shredder's mom and the fact that the Turtles go to the Technodrome, but I feel like the episode had unfulfilled potential. Not once do they engage Shredder or Krang in combat, something I think would have fit well here. It was also a missed opportunity for humour - having Shredder's mom 'backseat-fight' her son. Overall, this was a good episode, but could have been done better.
