Its a normal day on the Thousand Sunny until Nami reads the newspaper to the rest of the crew about the East Blue being attacked. Luffy then decides that they will go back to the East Blue to help out. Seconds later a big floating ship passes over the Sunny and Nami wishes to warn them about a storm coming by. The captain, impressed by Nami's navigating skills, tricks the Straw Hats and kidnaps Nami. Will the crew be able to save her, or will she join the other crew instead? the is really the best,don't get me wrong i enjoyed the others but this one truly takes the cake!First of all let me get this out of the way the animation is beautiful,especially on the animals and on the facial expressions.Sometimes just by looking at a characters face you can tell exactly what they're thinking.But i truly like it for the plot and characters(especially Nami who really shined in this one)what i mean is the way the characters personalities are portrayed,like for example when Luffy got that message from Nami he true a fit simply because she says they can't beat Shiki.Another example is the scene where Nami was to chose between selling her mind and body to Shiki or see her hometown perish.Again you could tell exactly what she was thinking.not to mention the plot is very original and thought provoking,not to mention by the way the others where original too,but the problem with them was the plot rarely focused completely on the straw-hats.Where as here it has everything to do with them.Bottom line those are the main reason why this one is my personal favourite.10/10 Shiki, the only pirate to escape from the underwater prison Impel Down is the main antagonist of the movie. What does Shiki do when Nami warns him of a dangerous storm that his advanced navigation equipment can't sense? The jerk makes the Straw Hats' ship fly into the sky, kidnaps Nami to keep as a navigator, and drops the Straw Hat Pirates and their ship from the air onto an island inhabited by violent rampaging mutated animals! Big mistake. In order to save Nami, they have to defeat Shiki, his crew, and hundreds of pirates that are also under his command, and save the entire East Blue from being destroyed. Viewers can expect great action and comedy like the television series. The mutated animals are very creative and his two major crew members are creative as well. One of the crew members is a scientist that resembles a clown and an actual gorilla that wears clothes. 7cb1d79195
