George Washington, First President of the USA

from web site

South of the Spokane region is the southeastern portion of Washington State, here lies another significant state school, Washington State College in Pullman. Walla Walla and the Tri-Cities (consisting of Richland, Pasco, and Kennewick) region are the important population stores of Southeast Washington. The land here was actually normal grassland and prairies but has been for the most part transformed to farming and agriculture thanks to the irrigation projects on the Lizard and Columbia Rivers.

The Key Washington region is generally the definition of explaining the area surrounding Ellensburg and Yakima. Ellensburg is home to Central Washington College and the Ellensburg Rodeo. Ellensburg also sits right on I-90 and is one of many last villages you stop at before heading on the Cascade Hills to American Washington.

Yakima is the main citizenry middle in Central Washington and also a vacation hub. From Yakima you are able to go southeast towards the Tri-Cities, south to Oregon, east towards Moses Lake and Spokane, north to Ellensburg, and west crossing the Cascade Hills via White Move to Western Washington. You will find aspects of Key Washington which are arid enough to really qualify as desert land.

Wenatchee is probably the most filled city in sell my land fast North Main Washington region. The southern and main the main North Central Washington place is scarred arid area etched by a giant ice era period flooding that covered most of Eastern Washington. This flooding created big gouges that resemble canyons and valleys and are called coulees.

The Columbia Stream dominates the North Central Washington area and the power and irrigation built possible by it's hydroelectric dams have now been a boon to the region. The treasure of those may be the Great Coulee Dam found about two hours northeast of Wenatchee. The Grand Coulee Dam backs up water all the way to the Canadian border.
