Huawei is Working with Aptoide to Replace the Google Play Store

from web site

Google slicing ties with Huawei has become within the news recently. The Chinese tech big took A significant strike following it had been blacklisted from the US government, and was Consequently compelled to suspend business enterprise Together with the People.

Nothing too upsetting for Huawei though, as they were already well-prepared for a fight. Huawei says that they had been preparing for a potential blacklisting for 6 years. The company has already developed their own OS, and is now working with Aptoide to replace the Google Play Store on Huawei devices.

This news was verified by Aptoide’s CEO, Paulo Trezentos, but he also statements that nothing at all is finalized as of yet. As Aptoide is usually a Portugal based organization, the ban would not influence them.

However, Huawei has its own app store, the Huawei App Gallery. At this stage, it is currently unclear whether Huawei will implement or provide Aptoide as a separate app in its existing app store.

The Huawei App Gallery has a smaller app base compared to Aptoide, which has over 900,000 Android apps available on it including chat room app. So we will probably see the content of Aptoide blending into the Huawei App Gallery.

Huawei obviously has great plans in his works. It is not shocking that the company comes back despite the huge blow, since it has grown so big and influential.
