Fans Think Ariana Grande's Next Album Is Called "Thank U, Next"

Ariana Grande has been busy chatting with fans on Twitter over the past few days, answering questions about potential new music, as well as possible music videos that are in the works. Of course, Arinators always have their detective hats on, so they’ve been hard at work trying to guess the title of her next album — and some of them even think they’ve totally figured it out.
When one fan asked Ariana what the title of her fifth studio album would be, Ari responded by saying “U already know it.” From there, fans decided that it’s obviously going to be “Thank u, next,” the phrase that Ariana has been tweeting for the past few days. The phrase made its first appearance on Ariana’s Twitter on Friday, November 2, when fans thought the singer-songwriter might have been sub-tweeting her ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson. While those tweets have since been deleted, Ariana has written the phrase a handful of times, and fans are catching on.
Other fans think that “Thank u, next” could also be the name of a track on her next album, as Ari herself seemed to indicate in a tweet explaining that “TY,N is kinda the exact opposite” of her song “Knew Better.” When a fan wondered if it would be a “track about empowerment,” Ari wrote: “exactly .... a new chapter gratitude, growth, embracing our path bumps n all .... thank u, next.” In another tweet, Ariana wrote that “This what happens when u write an album w your best friends,” adding that they “dig up all your old sayings and it ends up becoming the album title lmao.” To add fuel to the fire, Ariana even shared a screenshot that looked like she was listening to a song called “Thank u, next” from an album seemingly titled “ag5 lmao.”
Regardless of whether “Thank u, next” is an album, a song, or just a really, really catchy phrase, one thing is for sure: it’s a big mood. Whatever Ariana has cooking for fans is bound to be pretty epic...and we are more than ready.
