I have had a similar issue with my toshiba workstation with its now scandalous Vista Windows! could the issue (interfacing with wifi yet NO web get to, ie) has to do with my 'Windows Firewall Setting"?! what do I need to search for? what 'special cases' would it be a good idea for me to 'tick' to permit to unbound web access by my PC Firewall? much obliged to you for all your assistance.

Is there a red X over the icon in the Windows taskbar? What about on your phone — does it report that there isn't a wireless connection? Maybe you're told that there are no wireless networks available (when you know there are).

I'm having same issue as unique post... I'm going with wifi a netbook and when I've endeavored to associate with a wifi signal it says associated yet there is no web get to (and a yellow shout mark over the wifi image). I'm sitting in a similar area with my advanced cell and have web fine and dandy, same system, same secret phrase. I wonder on the off chance that it something to do with my PC instead of the switch? Any thoughts how to understand this or what setting I should take a gander at on the PC? I've gone to ipconfig at cmd brief and can/discharge and/restore and get a blunder saying "no activity can be performed on LAN association while its media is detached. A mistake happened while discharging interface loopback psudo-interface 1: the framework can't discover the record indicated" yet then it demonstrates to me a squires up location?
