from web site

From the last few decades, there are various key challenges which have emerged in the field of e-commerce. Managing a storefront isn't enough for being a profitable seller in the long run. In order to compete with the largest sellers across the world, you would need to tackle some key challenges you may face while using Amazon seller services.

Let's have a look at some tips which would help you to tackle those key challenges you may face while having access to the Amazon seller services as follows:

Tips to Tackle the Key Challenges of Amazon Seller Services in 2019

  1. Check Whether Your Product Needs Approval From Amazon or Not?

When it comes to Amazon FBA, there are more than 20 categories available for the sellers. Out of these categories, 15 categories are available which do not require any approval from the Amazon team.

If you decide to sell under these categories, then you will require to purchase a professional seller membership because they want to maintain a limited number of seller in each category. You can also sell your items under the categories requiring approval if you have found some unique products.

  1. Pick a Seller Plan that Suits Your Needs and Business Model

There are two plans offered by the Amazon team namely as Individual and Professional. Both plans have their own pros and cons. In the individual plan, Amazon charges a fee of 0.99$ for every single item you sell through their platform.

Under the Professional Plan, you would be able to sell an unlimited number of products by just paying a monthly subscription fee of 39.99 dollars.

  1. Create a Seller Account and List Your Products

To get yourself registered as a seller, you'll need to visit the Amazon Seller Central and then create a seller account there. Once you've created an account, then you can start listing your products on  Amazon platform by Optimizing Amazon Listing.

There are two cases - either you may be selling a new product or listed product. If you're selling products not listed on the Amazon platform, then you'll need a Universal Product Code for every single product you sell on Amazon.

  1. Set Your Promotional Channels and Targets

After listing your potential products, the next step is to decide the promotional channels, budget, and targets. You'll require to design a promotional plan that reaches to the highest number of potential customers at the lowest possible cost.

If you want to see your products on the top, you can consider running Amazon sponsored ads for them. Amazon also has an inbuilt tool which allows you to search for less competitive keywords which you can include in your product description to get better SERP results.

  1. Performance Evaluation

The last but not the least step is performance evaluation in which you'll have to compare your standards with actuals. You'll have to see which products are performing better and which ones are generating you a bad ROI.

You will have to see daily, weekly and monthly reports so that you can check the previous performance of your products. By doing so, one can also forecast the future performance of products.
