However, We do charge for a shop estimate of $79.95 (or $114.95 for TV’s over 40″) This is collected at the time of pick up, and will go towards the cost of the repair, and deducted from the final bill. We offer a free, general “over the phone” estimate based on our prior experience based on the information we are given on the phone from you the customer. If we are unable to fix the TV in your home, further diagnosis may be needed, and the TV will need to be taken into the shop. We would then call you with an accurate estimate, and when approved by you we will proceed with the repair. If the customer declines the shop estimate, or if parts are no longer available, the shop estimate charge is non-refundable & the TV will be returned.
