Do You Have Fun On The Putting Green?

from web site

Most golfers find it difficult to master a normal swing. To make matters worse, when they finally do find their way on to the green the game can become even more daunting. Many good golfers even struggle on the green, as this is the true test of how well a golfer can control speed and direction.

Most people struggle to roll the ball at the proper speed for the proper distance, and then when greens have so much undulation the task becomes nearly impossible. However, with a little practice, anyone is capable of putting like a professional golfer.

Putting may be one of the most challenging things golfers face; however, it should be one of the easiest. When golfers think realistically, they have to realize they may never be able to hit a 300 yard drive.

This is because they do not have hours to perform strength training exercises and perfect their swing. However, it is possible to make the majority of putts. Putting is the only part of the golf game that does not require strength; it only requires proper alignment and good perception home and garden .

There are several drills golfers can perform to improve their putting. The first thing they need to do is to change their outlook on their putting game. They should try to make putting practice something that is fun, opposed to being a chore. They can play mini games, such as lining up golf balls, at different distances to see how many consecutive putts they can make. This will make the normal practice session seem more relaxing, and the best news is that they will actually improve more. Most people simply like going to the driving range and seeing how far they can hit the ball, and the putting green does not allow people to 'muscle up.'

People can also create, or purchase, a training aid to assist with their putting. One good drill that golfers can do simply involves having two golf tees, a golf ball and their putter. They will align one tee, in the ground, on each end of the putter.

They will place the ball between the tee and putt through this gate. This will allow them to ensure the face is square to the target at impact. Many golfers do not know how to feel for a square putter face, which results in a lot of missed putts despite the otherwise perfect alignment. When golfers have fun on the putting green, they will make more putts.
