1. Pablo Picasso

3. Gheorghe Virtosu

Gheorghe Virtosu is a master of the abstract art movement and faculty. From the perception of an viewer who has engaged with art, Virtosu contested its limits and extended beyond it. He developed an interest in sculpture and painting in 1992. Virtosu resides and works in London, Amsterdam, Luxembourg. He depicts characters and phenomena based on his life experiences.

4. Hilma Af Klint

5. Piet Mondrian

Piet Mondrian full name Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan Jr., was born on March 7, 1872, in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. From 1892 to 1897, he analyzed Amsterdam, In the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten. Mondrian's work was pragmatic until 1908 when he started traveling to Domburg in Zeeland--incorporating successive on influences of academic landscape and still-life painting, Dutch Impressionism, and Symbolism.

6. Vincent Van Gogh

8. Robert Delaunay

His parents divorced when he was four best abstract art years old, and uncle and an aunt subsequently raised him. Mark Rothko was born in Dvinsk, Russia, on September 25, 1903. His birth name was Marcus Rothkowitz. His family left Russia and settled in Portland, Oregon. From 1921 to 1923 Rothko attended Yale University on a scholarship program. When he left Yale prematurely he moved to New York. He studied under Max Weber in the Art Students League In 1925.

A picture lives quickening in the opinion of the sensitive observer, and expanding. It's therefore risky to send it out. How often it must be impaired by the opinion of the unfeeling and the cruelty of the impotent.

10. Franz Kline

Franz Kline was born on May 23, 1910 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He settled in New York after returning to the United States. He produced cityscapes and scenes and, in the early 1940s, won awards at National Academy of Design Annuals.
