If the fact that we do not have events in your place discourages you from signing up that is amazing! We would rather need to close up than have to create more occasions only to get more members. Events are pricey and time consuming, and we'd rather not take from our advocacy work. If we need to spend most of our time doing events, then we won't have the skill to promote core issues we feel need to be discussed.
