proper, it is becoming very popular, notably in Caribbean destinations
It's not at all unusual for the first timer to be a little nervous becoming
started, but once they get out of their garments, any nervousness immediately
disappears.
There are two quite great methods of going about getting "nekkid" for the first
time.
1. A lot of first timers will choose destinations that are clothes optional for
their first trip. Elective means precisely what it signifies - you can choose to go
with or without your bathing suit. Many of the finer resorts like the Grand
Lido's in Jamaica all have clothing optional beaches. This way you'll be able to work out
of your suit a little more slowly until you are comfortable.
2. Just jump right in and "Go for it". If you have already made the decision to
go to a clothing optional or nude strand you have already passed the biggest
hurdle. When you get there, head out to the nude beach or pool, and fast
strip all the way from your clothing, just like you have been doing it all of
you life. Recall... All those other folks are "nekked" too... so it's not a
In our travels to
Clothes optional or nude destinations we have met all kinds of people including
businessmen, entrepreneurs, secretaries, physicians, professionals, office &
factory workers equally. The great thing about going to a clothes optional
destination is that everybody is the same. Any pretensions of class or position
are generally quickly lost and everybody appears to fit together and socialize
together.
My body
is far from perfect. Will not I be embarrassed?
If you're going to a nude beach anticipating
to see a naked version of "Baywatch" you're likely to be disappointed or relieved
as the case may be. One quick look around a nude beach and you'll soon realize
that as we mentioned before, most everyone is just like you and me.

Not wearing clothing is nothing to be embarrassed about.
Wayne, our webmaster, links his observations about some of his visits to
resorts that have both "fabric" and "bare" seashores. He finds the people on
the "clothed" sections of the shores consistently appear to BE A WHOLE LOT more body conscious
than on the nude beach. Consistently tugging and adjusting suits so they look just
right, while the folks on the nude beach are relaxed and cozy. We've
Found exactly the same thing.
What is
the difference between Clothing Optional (C/O) and Naturist facilities.
A resort or plage that is certainly Garments Elective
means that you just can be dressed or nude in the designated places - your alternative.
Many first timers favor Clothing Discretionary places because it gives them a
chance to "ease" out of their clothing. A Nude or Naturist facility or beach
Typically means that you're expected to be out of your garments totally in the
designated areas.
What do
I do about "Woody" or "That Time" of the Month?
For the guys:
Don't believe that just because you've stepped out on a nude beach your are
Sure its potential, but really its pretty
Improbable. But if it does occur just roll over on your belly for some time, or
cover up with a towel until the "situation" subsides. We have seen over the
last few years though that the medical miracle known as the "little blue pill"

remember that the effects from those things can be pretty long lasting.
What lousy timing, Huh? But do not worry about it, simply go with the flow... so to
Talk. Usually girls on their significant days will only don a bathing suit bottom
and go on having a great time. On lighter days, most women just do away with the
bottoms and simply tuck the string. No big deal... either way.
What is
this I hear about "Nude Etiquette"?
Any clothing optional or naked facility may
have their own rules, but generally the following guidelines will be
Proper.
Constantly keep a towel
handy and place it over any furniture you sit on. (Good hygiene)
Don't stare or "gawk"

at other people who are bare.

No photography. Save

Observe the "rules of
the house". If a facility designates that garments must be worn in particular
areas, or at particular times - please comply.
Personally... we're very much in favor of
sex!!! Oh... you mean public displays of sexual activity that you might have
heard about at some resorts?
