Ron Stephenson The red represents the blood of thousands of men and women that supported the rebellion. Not on slavery, but on taxes on cotton exports. History is buried in this country, and we are still trying to end slavery. But, the Federal Government works hard to keep people down.

They never put it up for a vote because they knew it wouldn’t pass. They used all their power and authority behind closed doors and never even gave us the opportunity to cast a vote one way or the other.
